Team
Missionaries, workers and pastors
Jesus called ordinary people, perhaps like you, to be part of something much bigger than we expected. What unites us is the longing of the psalmist (2:8), which we paraphrase:
"Ask of me, and I will give you the Amazon as an inheritance."
Today, the team of workers (volunteers, employees), missionaries (set apart for ministry), and pastors (responsible for local churches) at the Amazon Valley Mission consists of members from the city of Iranduba, riverine people from nearby communities, indigenous individuals from communities in the Upper Solimões, and non-indigenous people from several states in Brazil, including Santa Catarina, Paraná, São Paulo, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Maranhão, Minas Gerais, and Pará.
