Exchange, return, refund, and payment policy

The Amazon Valley Mission, committed to transparency and the satisfaction of its supporters, establishes the following policy regarding exchanges, returns, refunds, and payments:

 

1. Ticket Sales for Retreats and Conferences
1.1. Tickets purchased for retreats and conferences held in Iranduba or in riverside communities can be refunded in full if the request is made up to one week before the event.
1.2. To request a refund, please contact us and provide your purchase information.
1.3. After the one-week deadline prior to the event, no returns or refunds will be accepted.

 

2. Expedition Package Purchases
2.1. Expedition packages, which include transportation from Manaus to Iranduba, meals, lodging, and contributions toward fuel (gasoline or diesel), can be canceled with a full refund up to two weeks before the expedition date.
2.2. If the cancellation occurs between two weeks and one week before the expedition, a retention fee of 50% of the package value will be charged.
2.3. No cancellations or refunds will be accepted within one week of the expedition date.
2.4. To request a cancellation and refund, please contact the Finance Department and provide your purchase details.

 

3. Amazon Valley Store
3.1. General Information
The Amazon Valley Store sells t-shirts, books, handmade accessories, camping gear, and other products with Christian and survival themes. All purchases made on our website are subject to the terms below, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Code.
3.2. Payment Methods
We accept all payment methods available through the checkout platform integrated into the website, including credit cards, debit cards, PIX, and bank slips (boletos).
3.3. Shipping and Delivery Times
Shipping is carried out by Correios (Brazilian postal service). Orders are dispatched within up to seven (7) business days after payment confirmation. Delivery time depends on the location and the selected shipping method.
3.4. Order Tracking
After the product is shipped, a tracking code from Correios will be provided so the delivery status can be monitored.
3.5. Right of Withdrawal
According to Article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code, customers may exercise their right of withdrawal within seven (7) calendar days from receipt of the product. The product must be returned in perfect condition, with tags attached, no signs of use, and in its original packaging. The customer will be responsible for return shipping costs.
3.6. Exchanges and Returns Due to Damage or Incorrect Product
If the product arrives damaged or does not match the order (e.g., wrong item), the customer may request an exchange or return within thirty (30) calendar days from receipt. In this case, shipping costs will be covered by the store.
3.7. Refusal of Delivery
If the product packaging is tampered with or shows signs of damage upon delivery, the customer should refuse the package and immediately notify the store.
3.8. Conditions for Return and Exchange
Products must be in perfect condition, with tags attached, no signs of use, and with the original packaging intact. Items that do not meet these requirements will be returned to the customer without the right to exchange or refund.
3.9. Size Exchanges (When Applicable)
Clothing items may be exchanged for a different size within seven (7) calendar days, subject to stock availability. Shipping costs for sending and resending the item are the customer's responsibility. If the requested size is unavailable, the customer may opt for a store credit in the amount paid.
3.10. Products with Differentiated Return Policies
Some products may have specific return and exchange policies, which will be described on the product's sales page.
3.11. Cancellation Policy
The store does not accept cancellations after payment confirmation, except in cases provided by law: right of withdrawal (item 5) or verified product damage (item 6).
3.12. Request Deadline
Customers may request exchanges or returns within thirty (30) calendar days as outlined above. After this period, no requests will be accepted.
3.13. Use of Personal Data (LGPD)
Customer data is used solely for processing and shipping orders, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The Amazon Valley Store employs security measures to protect this information, in compliance with Brazilian Law No. 13.709/2018 (General Data Protection Law – LGPD).

 

4. Contributions and Financial Donations
4.1. Financial contributions or donations to support the Amazon Valley Mission or the Amazon Valley Institute may be one-time or recurring and are directed toward the overall maintenance of the mission.
4.2. Once made, financial donations are non-refundable.
4.3. If someone registers a credit card or other payment method for recurring donations and wishes to cancel, change the payment method, or adjust the payment date, they may do so by contacting the Finance Department.
4.4. To modify or cancel recurring donations, please contact the Finance Department.
